Christian Youth Ministries is a registered charity (number 1075626). We are a multi-faceted Christian organisation dedicated to helping local churches talk to young people and children about life’s most important things from a biblical perspective.
We’ve been working successfully since the early 1980’s, and our efforts take all kinds of different forms depending on the task to hand. This work has developed dramatically over the years and we’re proud of all that God has enabled us to achieve. Looking ahead, we’re even more excited by all He’s asking us to do next. With an increasing volume of potentially overwhelming pitfalls facing young people and children today, never has this work been so necessary.

The Work
CYM is known to communicate effectively to young people in various ways, from high-octane events like house parties, to one-to-one listening. We also host training programs for youth workers, schools day conferences on topical issues and leadership training events.
Much of our time is spent in schools. In primary schools we’ve concentrated on providing lessons and assemblies. In high schools we take Religious Education (RE) and Personal and Social Education (PSE) lessons as well as assemblies. We share a range of resources with teachers including courses, materials and equipment.
