Youth Ministry Training Course 2010 – 2011

It’s great that you are thinking about the Formation Training Course with us! Here are a few things you really need to know…

1. Total teaching time = 20 days over two terms.
   
2. Our days run from 9:30am until 5:00pm. We have a break at 11am just for 15 minutes and for lunch at 12:45pm for 45 minutes. Bring your own packed lunch to eat here and we’ll make hot and cold drinks as we go.
   
3. Each day will consist of Theology, Theory and Practise.
   
4. Much of the theory and practical sections of each day will relate directly to you and to your work with specific young people. We need to be able to share our joys and our struggles openly knowing that anything discussed will not be spoken of outside our group. This level of confidentiality is very important in order for us to honour each other and our young people.
   
5. Come each week with an open attitude prepared to fully participate in all that is asked and to encourage each other as we seek to grow in ideas and skills together.
   
6. The cost for the whole course (including materials) = £500
