 The Platform
The Platform is a fun, interactive, multimedia event for 11 – 16 year olds. The event is attended by approximately 40-70 young people from across Suffolk. In addition we have a great team of about 30 volunteer leaders including many older young people.
The dates of the upcoming Platforms are:
Saturday 20th September
Saturday 18th October
Saturday 15th November
Saturday 13th December
The aims of the Platform are:
- Evangelism - to communicate that life without God doesn't make sense and how a relationship with God, which is only possible through Jesus Christ, is essential.
- Discipleship - to provide relevant and practical Bible teaching to help equip young people to live as followers of Christ in today's culture.
- Community - to provide young people with an opportunity to meet with 'likeminded' people from across the area, realising that 'strength can be found in numbers'. The Platform aims to create a safe and supportive environment where young people can explore the/their Christian faith.
