African Adventure

Making the most of childhood

We know you might be nervous about going away, so here are some things you might want to know about.

Depending on your school, you'll sleep in either bedrooms or in our African huts. Your school will decide who goes in which bedroom. The huts might look a little basic but they're actually warm and comfortable, it's a little bit like having a sleepover.

We usually go to bed around 9pm and get up at 7am ready for breakfast which is normally at 8am.

We eat together every day either in our dining room, or outside next to our main field. We have fantastic cooks who work really hard to think of tasty things to eat.

Visiting us

Despite the name, we're not actually going to Africa, but you might feel a bit like you're in a different country. Also, unlike other activity centres, we only take one school at a time, so you will know everyone there. This means that it's a bit like going on a really exciting holiday with your friends. Because we'll be spending most of our time outdoors, you can't bring electronic devices like phones or iPads because they would be very likely to get lost or broken.

'This is literally the best school trip ever'
