African Adventure

Making the most of childhood

Teachers

This is by far the best residential I have ever been on.

Your trip

We understand that organising a school trip can be stressful but we want to make the experience just as good for you too. We appreciate all your hard work at school so whilst at African Adventure we also want you to enjoy the time away. We have no expectation for you to lead anything during the day but do ask for you to support the African Adventure staff and be involved with the activities.

We want to support you at school too. We would love to organise a meeting to visit the children before their trip. This sets the scene prior to coming, answers any questions and allows parents to discuss the visit with us. This completely free of charge.

Safety first

All instructors involved in leading activities must have achieved the levels of qualification, or above, required by the governing body of the sport or activity being undertaken. Any in-house training is in compliance with the sport’s governing bodies. Procedures that the activity staff must follow are in line with the requirements of the Adventure Activities Licensing Regulations 1996 implemented under the Activity Centres (Young Persons Safety) Act 1995.

Adventure over?

Don't wait until next year, we'd love to keep the relationship going with free follow up assemblies, classes, visits and activities.

We are often asked if children can send us letters and drawings. We love to keep in touch this way and we will always reply to every letter. Our contact details are here.
