A year to remember

Have you ever considered taking a year out to work for God? Are you passionate about youth work or children's work?

Our Gap Year will help you to develop as a person, surrounded by a team of supportive professional youth and children workers, gaining the experience of a lifetime.

We are offering you an academic year Gap Year, becoming part of the full-time team at CYM, in a voluntary capacity, to gain vital knowledge in the fields of children's and youth work. The aim is to give you a year of experience that will enable you to gain clarity on where God is directing you. 'Become' will give you experience in church partnership work, events, residential weekends, schools work and African Adventure. We will provide you with space to develop your journey in your Christian faith and give you training in safeguarding, health and safety and mentoring. If you love working with children and young people and want a year to develop your skills and experience then this is the gap year for you.

A year of belonging, collaboration and meaning
